This is Nidhi Saxena. I am a professional textile designer, a coloring specialist, and home-fashion trends blogger, and newly, an aspiring children’s book author. More importantly, I am also a mother to two wonderful children, and raising them is the toughest and the most rewarding job I have.
Most of us wish we could be children again. Childhood is fun! Childhood is also a time to learn, cultivate good habits, learn life’s skills, and make friends. Good stories are a big part of being a child. And that’s what I want to do - help children learn with good stories.

As a high-spirited child growing up in small-town India, stories were a big part of my life. The stories I heard not only stimulated my thinking but also shaped my perspectives and values. As a child growing up in a pre-digital world, stories were also a significant source of learning, inspiration, and entertainment. Even today, stories are a big part of our family life.
Children are bundles of energy and sometimes it is hard to hold their attention while learning. In my own experience, I have found that children tend to retain more information from stories as compared to academic learning. That’s my mission - making learning fun!
Creating new stories is something I love doing. I sincerely hope that you and your children also like my stories. Have fun reading and learning!
My Story
Parenting is as exhilarating as it is challenging. Being a parent comes with many responsibilities, and helping children learn is a big one. While it is fun to watch children grow, it is often difficult to make them sit in one place, maintain focus and learn.
Of course, my husband and I knew all this before. But we didn’t realize the size of the problem until we became parents. And we wanted to avoid the screens as much as we could. So, how did we make our firstborn, a bundle of energy, who constantly runs around, focus, and learn? We tried a variety of things such as reciting words, memorizing multiplication tables, going through flashcards, flipping through picture books, watching sports, etc. but from our own experience, we discovered that stories are the most engaging thing for kids. Stories make learning fun - for both, kids as well as for us.
While there was no shortage of stories, we thought of providing our child some original content. For that reason, we came up with our own stories that drew from life around us. And our child loved it and learned from them.
We are happy to share some of them with the world so that all the children can learn from stories. Come on join us in making learning fun!
